Unforgettable Anniversary
Toasts & Speeches

We have gathered some unforgettable anniversary toasts to help you celebrate the anniversary couple.

Please be aware that a toast and speech are two different things. A toast is short, usually only a few lines or sentences. An anniversary speech is much longer. It is usually written by a family member and read during the anniversary celebration. Please see our wedding anniversary speeches page for helpful speech writing suggestions.

Toasting with Drinks

Here Are Some Simple Toasting Tips:

It is customary for the party host to lead the toast to the anniversary couple.

Stand with your glass raised to signal you are ready to make a toast. If you are having trouble getting everyone’s attention tap on your glass gently with a piece of silverware.

Use a microphone if one is available.

Face the crowd while at the same time maintaining eye contact with the anniversary couple.

Speak slowly and clearly.

When you are done let the crowd know by raising your glass high, giving a salutation (Cheers!) and then take a sip of your drink.

Below you will find some of our unforgettable favorites that can be used for any year.
